Driving to San Diego
The movie below shows two possible routes from Chicago to San Diego . There is a decision point at Little Rock Arkansas . The route from Chicago to Little Rock is traced with the pencil tool with a 5 pixel stroke. The alternatives after Little Rock are traced with a 2.5 pixel stroke. The rectangle near Little Rock was drawn with the Rectangle Tool and filled with a linear gradient.
Lessons Learned - bitmap imports. It is possible to save a page from Adobe Acrobat in png format. The png bitmap can be imported into flash. I LEARNED YOU HAVE TO REWORK YOUR ENTIRE DOCUMENT if you import the graphic at a size much larger than the stage and then layer other work on top of the bitmap. It is very important the get the unerlying layers properly aligned and sized correctly before continuing.
