Capella University Course TS5506 - Jim Miller

Class Project - Chapter 11 - Actionscript

Driving San Diego (but remembering a previous trip to Jasper, Alberta)

This is built on the movie in Chapter 10. Buttons and Actionscript were added. The main timeline of the movie can now be stopped and started using the buttons in the lower left. Notice when you use these buttons, if the Elk Movie Clip is displayed, it will keep running. The buttons in the Elk Movie Clip control only that movie clip. This provides a good example of how the timeline in a move clip relates to the main timeline.

Lessons Learned - Using Actionscript is similar to using Java to control a graphical user interface.
