Class Project - Chapter 10 - Movie Clip
Driving San Diego (but remembering a previous trip to Jasper, Alberta)
This is built on the movie in Chapter 9. A movie clip showing Elk outside our cabin door in Jasper, Alberta (Canada) has been added in the northern part of the map. Flash was used to edit out the last half of the movie where the male Elk got too close causing the camera to be pointed to the ground. I decided to introduce the Elk Movie Clip just as the car passes Dallas.
It's good that I reduced the file size in Chapter 8 because the addition of the Elk Movie Clip brings the file size up to 450K. The file is the same size whether or not the Elk Video is embedded in a Movie Clip.
Lessons Learned - I edited the video by removing frames after I imported it. If I had waited until reading Chapter 16, I could have edited the video during the import process with less effort.
